North Carolina High School Basketball - Carolina International trounces Apprentice Academy

January 31, 2023: Concord, NC 28027

The Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Apprentice Academy Red Wolves (Monroe, NC), 99-41 in Tuesday's league test.

The Comets (12-14) will now prepare for their test against Cabarrus Charter (Concord, NC). The Huskies go into the 1A Conference 38 test with a 5-12 record. In their last test, Cabarrus Charter was trounced by Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC), 83-65, in a league test.

The Red Wolves now own a 0-14 record. They play next when they travel to Corvian Community for a 1A Conference 38 test on Friday, February 3. Apprentice Academy will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 76-46 non-league win over Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 12-6.
