North Carolina High School Basketball - Corvian Community crushes Apprentice Academy

December 14, 2022: Monroe, NC 28110

Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Apprentice Academy Red Wolves (Monroe, NC), 68-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Corvian Community upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC) to clash with the Stallions in a 1A Conference 38 bout on Friday, December 16. The Stallions go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Queen's Grant won 53-52 in their recent non-league bout against Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC)

Next up, the Red Wolves clash with the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC) in a 1A Conference 38 bout, on Friday, December 16. Apprentice Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 63-57 league loss to Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC).
