North Carolina High School Basketball - Queen's Grant trounced by Corvian Community

December 16, 2022: Matthews, NC 28105

The Corvian Community Cardinals routed the host Queen's Grant Stallions basketball team by a final score of 82-47 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Cardinals face the Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC) in a 1A Conference 38 game, on Tuesday, December 20. Corvian Community will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Comets enter the game with a 3-9 record after their 85-63 non-league loss to Combine Academy (Lincolnton, NC).

With the defeat, Queen's Grant moves to 6-3 on the year. The Stallions travel to Cabarrus Charter (Concord, NC) to face the Huskies in a 1A Conference 38 game on Tuesday, December 20. The Huskies enter the game with a record of 2-4. Cabarrus Charter won 64-52 in their recent league game against Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC)
