North Carolina High School Basketball - Queen's Grant trounces Cabarrus Charter

The Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Cabarrus Charter Huskies (Concord, NC), 69-35 in Friday's league test.

The Stallions (12-7) will now prepare for their test against Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Wildcats go into the 1A Conference 38 test with a 5-10 record. In their last test, Sugar Creek was trounced by Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC), 74-46, in a league test.

The Huskies now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Piedmont Community Charter for a 1A Conference 38 test on Tuesday, January 31. Cabarrus Charter will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 59-40 league win over Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 13-7.
