Maine High School Basketball - Ellsworth crushes Hermon
January 31, 2023: Hermon, ME 04401 Ellsworth Eagles (Ellsworth, ME) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hermon Hawks (Hermon, ME), 67-44 in a league bout.
With the win, Ellsworth upgrades its record to 15-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Bucksport (Bucksport, ME) to clash with the Golden Bucks in a B North bout on Thursday, February 2. The Golden Bucks go into the bout with a record of 5-8.
Next up, the Hawks clash with the Caribou Vikings (Caribou, ME) in a B North bout, on Thursday, February 2. Hermon will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 76-58 non-league win over Fort Kent (Fort Kent, ME).
