January 25, 2023: Hermon, ME 04401 In Wednesday's league outing, the Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME) basketball squad felled the host Hermon Hawks (Hermon, ME), by a margin of 60-42.
The Trojans (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Caribou (Caribou, ME). The Vikings go into the B North outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Caribou thwarted Bucksport (Bucksport, ME), 78-57, in a league outing.
The Hawks now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Ellsworth for a B North outing on Tuesday, January 31. Hermon will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 67-41 league win over Caribou (Caribou, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 14-1.
