Maine High School Basketball - Orono crushes Hermon
December 15, 2022: Orono, ME 04473 Orono Riots (Orono, ME) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hermon Hawks (Hermon, ME), 93-38 in a league bout.
With the victory, Orono upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Riots host Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) to play the Ponies in a B North bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Ponies come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Foxcroft Academy won 82-27 in their recent non-league bout against Central (East Corinth, ME)
Next up, the Hawks play the Caribou Vikings (Caribou, ME) in a B North bout, on Saturday, December 17. Hermon will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 75-45 non-league win over Houlton (Houlton, ME).
