Georgia High School Basketball - Peachtree Ridge holds off Norcross
January 31, 2023: Suwanee, GA 30024 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Peachtree Ridge Lions (Suwanee, GA) and the visiting Norcross Blue Devils (Norcross, GA), saw Peachtree Ridge's basketball squad hold off Norcross by a tally of 58-55.
With the victory, Peachtree Ridge improves its record to 18-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Meadowcreek (Norcross, GA) to confront the Mustangs in a AAAAAAA Region 7 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 7-14. Meadowcreek lost 74-70 in their recent league challenge against Discovery (Lawrenceville, GA)
Next up, the Blue Devils confront the North Gwinnett Bulldogs (Suwanee, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 7 challenge, on Friday, February 3. Norcross will attempt to improve on its 19-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 9-13 record after their 74-51 non-league loss to Drew Charter (Atlanta, GA).
