The Peachtree Ridge Lions topped the host Meadowcreek Mustangs basketball team by a final score of 62-53 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Lions face the Duluth Wildcats (Duluth, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 7 battle, on Tuesday, February 7. Peachtree Ridge will attempt to improve on its 19-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 7-17 record after their 44-43 league loss to Discovery (Lawrenceville, GA).

The Mustangs (7-15) will now prepare for their battle against North Gwinnett (Suwanee, GA). The Bulldogs come into the AAAAAAA Region 7 battle with a 10-14 record. In their last battle, North Gwinnett beat Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA), 60-45, in a non-league battle.
