The Westminster Wildcats basketball team (Atlanta, GA), was overwhelmed 63-31 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA)

The Panthers now possess a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hapeville Charter for a AAAA Region 6 battle on Friday, February 3. Southwest DeKalb will confront a Hornets team coming off a 45-40 league loss to Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 13-8.

The Wildcats (9-13) will now prepare for their battle against Stone Mountain (Stone Mountain, GA). The Pirates come into the AAAA Region 6 battle with a 4-18 record. In their last battle, Stone Mountain was overwhelmed by Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA), 60-46, in a non-league battle.
