Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Westminster Wildcats (Atlanta, GA), 59-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Southwest DeKalb upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Destin (Destin, FL) to clash with the Sharks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Sharks go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Destin lost 75-66 in their recent non-league bout against Chipley (Chipley, FL)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Dawson County Tigers (Dawsonville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Westminster will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 90-54 non-league loss to Flowery Branch (Flowery Branch, GA).
