The Southwest DeKalb Panthers basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Druid Hills Red Devils to 34 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 24-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holy Innocents Episcopal for a AAAA Region 6 contest on Saturday, February 18. Southwest DeKalb will battle a Golden Bears team coming off a 55-51 non-league win over Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA). The Golden Bears record now stands at 16-10.

The Red Devils (16-11) will now prepare for their contest against Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA). The Wolverines enter the non-league contest with a 14-12 record. In their last contest, Miller Grove was defeated by Holy Innocents Episcopal (Atlanta, GA), 55-51, in a non-league contest.
