Louisiana High School Basketball - Airline overwhelms Captain Shreve
January 31, 2023: Bossier City, LA 71111 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Airline Vikings (Bossier City, LA) and the visiting Captain Shreve Gators (Shreveport, LA), saw Airline's basketball squad wallop Captain Shreve by a tally of 48-22.
With the victory, Airline improves its record to 11-12 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Parkway (Bossier City, LA) to confront the Panthers in a 5A District 1 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 23-5. Parkway won 55-22 in their recent league challenge against Byrd (Shreveport, LA)
Next up, the Gators confront the Benton Tigers (Benton, LA) in a 5A District 1 challenge, on Friday, February 3. Captain Shreve will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 13-10 record after their 60-28 league win over Southwood (Shreveport, LA).
