The Natchitoches Central Chiefs basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Airline Vikings to 47 in the Chiefs league victory on Tuesday.

The Chiefs now sport a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Benton for a 5A District 1 contest on Friday, February 10. Natchitoches Central will battle a Tigers team coming off a 46-40 league loss to Parkway (Bossier City, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 14-11.

The Vikings (11-14) will now prepare for their contest against Southwood (Shreveport, LA). The Cowboys come into the 5A District 1 contest with a 13-13 record. In their last contest, Southwood was nudged by Byrd (Shreveport, LA), 63-49, in a league contest.
