California High School Basketball - West Hills can't hold off El Capitan
January 31, 2023: Lakeside, CA 92040 The El Capitan Vaqueros basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting West Hills Wolf Pack to 36 in the Vaqueros league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vaqueros now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount Miguel for a contest on Friday, February 3. El Capitan will battle a Matadors team coming off a 68-24 league loss to Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 0-14.
The Wolf Pack (11-13) will now prepare for their contest against Santana (Santee, CA). The Sultans enter the contest with a 15-10 record. In their last contest, Santana nudged El Cajon Valley (El Cajon, CA), 44-42, in a league contest.
