California High School Basketball - Mount Miguel ripped by El Capitan
February 3, 2023: Spring Valley, CA 91977 The El Capitan Vaqueros basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Mount Miguel Matadors to 30 in the Vaqueros league triumph on Friday.
The Vaqueros now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host El Cajon Valley for a contest on Tuesday, February 7. El Capitan will battle a Braves team coming off a 61-50 league loss to Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA). The Braves record now stands at 1-10.
The Matadors (0-15) will now prepare for their contest against Kearny (San Diego, CA). The Komets enter the non-league contest with a 4-14 record. In their last contest, Kearny was routed by High Tech SD (San Diego, CA), 52-37, in a league contest.
