California High School Basketball - Mount Miguel ripped by Steele Canyon
January 31, 2023: Spring Valley, CA 91978 The Steele Canyon Cougars basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Mount Miguel Matadors to 24 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to El Cajon Valley for a contest on Friday, February 3. Steele Canyon will battle a Braves team coming off a 44-42 league loss to Santana (Santee, CA). The Braves record now stands at 1-9.
The Matadors (0-14) will now prepare for their contest against El Capitan (Lakeside, CA). The Vaqueros enter the contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, El Capitan triumphed over West Hills (Santee, CA), 42-36, in a league contest.
