The Northampton County Jaguars basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Warren County Eagles to 42 in the Jaguars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Jaguars now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southeast Halifax for a contest on Friday, February 3. Northampton County will battle a Trojans team coming off a 64-51 league loss to North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 4-11.

The Eagles (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 14-3 record. In their last contest, Wilson Prep ran past Weldon (Weldon, NC), 80-15, in a league contest.
