Minnesota High School Basketball - St. Francis nips Zimmerman
January 31, 2025: St. Francis, MN 55070 In Friday's league contest, the host St. Francis Fighting Saints basketball team scored a close 63-56 win over the Zimmerman Thunder.
The Fighting Saints (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN). The Bluejackets come into the non-league contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Cambridge-Isanti was tipped by Monticello (Monticello, MN), 83-66, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Thunder battle the Big Lake Hornets (Big Lake, MN) in a AAA Section 5 contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Zimmerman will attempt to better on its 14-6 season record.
