The Camden County Bruins basketball squad (Camden, NC), was crushed 59-18 in Friday's league battle with the host First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC)

With the victory, First Flight advances its record to 12-2 on the year. The Nighthawks host Holmes (Edenton, NC) to meet the Aces in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal battle on Saturday, February 1. The Aces enter the battle with a record of 5-8. Holmes won 56-43 in their recent non-league battle against Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC)

The Bruins now own a 1-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northeastern for a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal battle on Tuesday, February 4. Camden County will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 66-28 league win over Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 9-4.
