The Currituck County Knights nipped the host First Flight Nighthawks basketball squad by a final score of 55-48 in Thursday's league outing.

The Nighthawks (15-3) will now prepare for their outing against Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC). The Eagles enter the 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal outing with a 12-5 record. In their last outing, Northeastern got by Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC), 59-44, in a league outing.
