North Carolina High School Basketball - Currituck County nips Holmes

January 18, 2025: Barco, NC 27917

In Saturday's league contest, the host Currituck County Knights basketball team scored a close 39-34 triumph over the Holmes Aces.

The Knights (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC). The Nighthawks go into the 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal contest with a 9-1 record.

In their next game, the Aces battle the Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC) in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Holmes will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Redskins go into the contest with a 2-8 record after their 35-27 league loss to Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC).
