Virginia High School Basketball - Galax winner over Grayson County

January 4, 2022: Galax, VA 24333

The Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA) basketball felled the visiting Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA), 37-27 in Tuesday's league test.

The Maroon Tide (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Pioneers go into the Mountain Empire test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, Fort Chiswell went down by Chilhowie (Chilhowie, VA), 65-60, in a non-league test.

The Blue Devils now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Alleghany for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 5. Grayson County will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 31-24 non-league win over Grayson County (Independence, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-6.
