Utah High School Basketball - Jordan topped by Lehi
January 4, 2022: Sandy, UT 84070 The Lehi Pioneers basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the host Jordan Beetdiggers to 25 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Pioneers now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orem for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 6.
The Beetdiggers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Alta (Sandy, UT). The Hawks come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
First Quarter
Lehi made 3 three point baskets in the first quarter and ended up with 13 points. Jordan made only 2 baskets and 4 foul shots for a total of 8 points.
Second Quarter
The second quarter was all Lehi has they held Jordan to just 2 points. The Pioneers had 4 different players score and they had 12 points. The score at the end of the first half is 25 to 10 in favor of Lehi.
Third Quarter
In the third quarter, not much hit the bottom of the nets as each team only scored 4 points. Lehi has a 15 point lead going into the final period.
Fourth Quarter
With four different players scoring for Lehi in the last quarter the Pioneers win easily by the score of 42 to 25. Nine players scored for Lehi in the contest as Hadlie Warren led the way with 10. The Pioneers hit 7 three point shots in the game.
