January 4, 2024: Forrest City, AR 72335 The Pocahontas Redskins basketball team (Pocahontas, AR), was overwhelmed 84-45 in Thursday's league battle with the host Forrest City Mustangs (Forrest City, AR)
The Mustangs now possess a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trumann for a 4A Region 3 battle on Monday, January 8. Forrest City will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 61-60 league win over Blytheville (Blytheville, AR). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-9.
The Redskins (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Brookland (Brookland, AR). The Bearcats come into the 4A Region 3 battle with a 14-3 record. In their last battle, Brookland trounced Southside (Batesville, AR), 50-42, in a league battle.
