Arkansas High School Basketball - Forrest City crushes Trumann
January 8, 2024: Trumann, AR 72472 Forrest City Mustangs (Forrest City, AR) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Trumann Wildcats (Trumann, AR), 80-51 in a league bout.
With the win, Forrest City upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Mustangs host Wynne (Wynne, AR) to play the Yellowjackets in a 4A Region 3 bout on Friday, January 12. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 1-15. Wynne lost 65-56 in their recent league bout against Blytheville (Blytheville, AR)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Brookland Bearcats (Brookland, AR) in a 4A Region 3 bout, on Friday, January 12. Trumann will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 15-3 record after their 68-51 league win over Pocahontas (Pocahontas, AR).
