Arkansas High School Basketball - Brookland tops Forrest City
December 11, 2023: Brookland, AR 72417 Brookland Bearcats (Brookland, AR) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Forrest City Mustangs (Forrest City, AR), 73-63 in a league bout.
With the victory, Brookland upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Nettleton (Jonesboro, AR) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 6-4. Nettleton lost 56-38 in their recent non-league bout against Parkview (Little Rock, AR)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Westside Warriors (Jonesboro, AR) in a 4A Region 3 bout, on Thursday, December 14. Forrest City will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 8-1 record after their 73-39 non-league win over Hillcrest (Strawberry, AR).
