Arkansas High School Basketball - Brookland can't hold off Blytheville
February 16, 2024: Brookland, AR 72417 Blytheville Chickasaws (Blytheville, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Brookland Bearcats (Brookland, AR), 59-56 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Blytheville upgrades its record to 12-13 on the season. The Chickasaws travel to Westside (Jonesboro, AR) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 17. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 18-6. Westside won 67-66 in their recent non-league bout against Forrest City (Forrest City, AR)
Next up, the Bearcats clash with the Clinton Yellowjackets (Clinton, AR) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 22. Brookland will attempt to upgrade on its 22-5 season record.
