Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Maricopa Rams (Maricopa, AZ), 75-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Highland upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Hawks travel to Red Mountain (Mesa, AZ) to face the Mountain Lions in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 9. The Mountain Lions enter the game with a record of 12-3. Red Mountain won 58-55 in their recent non-league game against McClintock (Tempe, AZ)
