The Connersville Spartans basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Greenfield-Central Cougars to 50 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Spartans now have a 11-5 record. They play next when they host Union County for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 8. Connersville will confront a Patriots team coming off a 52-41 non-league loss to Franklin County (Brookville, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Greenfield-Central falls to 11-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Perry Meridian (Indianapolis, IN) to confront the Falcons in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 1-14.
