January 5, 2023: Petersburg, MI 49270 The Morenci Bulldogs (Morenci, MI) basketball knocked off the host Summerfield Bulldogs (Petersburg, MI), 52-40 in Thursday's league test.
The Bulldogs (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Erie-Mason (Erie, MI). The Eagles go into the Tri-County test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Erie-Mason notched a victory over Sand Creek (Sand Creek, MI), 70-22, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Madison for a Tri-County test on Tuesday, January 10. Summerfield will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 41-39 non-league win over Ida (Ida, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 3-3.
