Iowa High School Basketball - Columbus ripped by Hillcrest Academy
January 5, 2024: Kalona, IA 52247 The Hillcrest Academy Ravens basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Columbus Wildcats to 19 in the Ravens league triumph on Friday.
The Ravens now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Liberty for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Hillcrest Academy will battle a Comets team coming off a 59-46 league loss to Regina (Iowa City, IA). The Comets record now stands at 3-5.
The Wildcats (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against West Liberty (West Liberty, IA). The Comets enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, West Liberty triumphed over Hillcrest Academy (Kalona, IA), 52-50, in a non-league contest.
