Iowa High School Basketball - Hillcrest Academy topped by Pekin
January 23, 2024: Kalona, IA 52247 The Pekin Panthers basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Hillcrest Academy Ravens to 40 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pella Christian for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25.
The Ravens (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Keota (Keota, IA). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 15-0 record. In their last contest, Keota prevailed over Tri-County (Thornburg, IA), 89-33, in a league contest.
