Connecticut High School Basketball - Cromwell fells Haddam-Killingworth
January 5, 2024: Higganum, CT 06441 Cromwell Panthers (Cromwell, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Haddam-Killingworth Cougars (Higganum, CT), 60-41 in a league bout.
With the win, Cromwell upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Panthers host Portland (Portland, CT) to clash with the Highlanders in a Shoreline bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Portland won 48-34 in their recent league bout against Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT)
Next up, the Cougars clash with the Old Lyme Wildcats (Old Lyme, CT) in a Shoreline bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Haddam-Killingworth will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 74-62 league win over Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT).
