Connecticut High School Basketball - Cromwell overwhelms North Branford
February 2, 2024: North Branford, CT 06471 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Cromwell Panthers (Cromwell, CT) and the host North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT), saw Cromwell's basketball squad wallop North Branford by a count of 63-39.
With the victory, Cromwell upgrades its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Valley Regional (Deep River, CT) to play the Warriors in a Shoreline challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 4-11. Valley Regional lost 62-59 in their recent league challenge against East Hampton (East Hampton, CT)
Next up, the Thunderbirds play the Haddam-Killingworth Cougars (Higganum, CT) in a Shoreline challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. North Branford will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 63-40 league loss to Morgan (Clinton, CT).
