Connecticut High School Basketball - Cromwell nudges Old Saybrook
January 23, 2024: Cromwell, CT 06416 Cromwell Panthers (Cromwell, CT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Old Saybrook Rams (Old Saybrook, CT), 61-55 in a league bout.
With the win, Cromwell upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT) to clash with the Blue Devils in a Shoreline bout on Friday, January 26. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 9-3.
Next up, the Rams clash with the Valley Regional Warriors (Deep River, CT) in a Shoreline bout, on Friday, January 26. Old Saybrook will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 61-56 league win over Hale Ray (Moodus, CT).
