Connecticut High School Basketball - Old Saybrook tops Westbrook
December 19, 2023: Old Saybrook, CT 06475 Old Saybrook Rams (Old Saybrook, CT) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Westbrook Knights (Westbrook, CT), 54-44 in a league bout.
With the victory, Old Saybrook upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT) to play the Blue Devils in a Shoreline bout on Thursday, December 21. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 3-0. Coginchaug Regional won 71-62 in their recent league bout against Portland (Portland, CT)
Next up, the Knights play the Old Lyme Wildcats (Old Lyme, CT) in a Shoreline bout, on Friday, December 22. Westbrook will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 59-49 league win over Hale Ray (Moodus, CT).
