Connecticut High School Basketball - Old Lyme overwhelms Westbrook
February 6, 2024: Westbrook, CT 06498 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Old Lyme Wildcats (Old Lyme, CT) and the host Westbrook Knights (Westbrook, CT), saw Old Lyme's basketball squad wallop Westbrook by a tally of 60-33.
With the victory, Old Lyme improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT) to play the Rams in a Shoreline challenge on Friday, February 9. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 3-12. Old Saybrook lost 68-49 in their recent league challenge against Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT)
Next up, the Knights play the Lyman Memorial Bulldogs (Lebanon, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 7. Westbrook will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-12 record after their 64-60 non-league loss to Killingly (Killingly, CT).
