January 30, 2024: Old Lyme, CT 06371 The Portland Highlanders basketball team (Portland, CT), was overwhelmed 69-41 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Old Lyme Wildcats (Old Lyme, CT)
The Wildcats now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hale Ray for a Shoreline battle on Friday, February 2. Old Lyme will battle a Noises team coming off a 51-45 league win over Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT). The Noises record now stands at 5-10.
The Highlanders (4-11) will now prepare for their battle against Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT). The Blue Devils come into the Shoreline battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Coginchaug Regional trounced Westbrook (Westbrook, CT), 66-30, in a league battle.
