The Hale Ray Noises (Moodus, CT) basketball knocked off the visiting Portland Highlanders (Portland, CT), 52-40 in Friday's league test.

The Noises (2-1) will now prepare for their test against North Branford (North Branford, CT). The Thunderbirds go into the Shoreline test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, North Branford went down by Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT), 67-46, in a league test.
