January 30, 2024: Westbrook, CT 06498 The Westbrook Knights basketball team (Westbrook, CT), was overwhelmed 66-30 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils (Durham, CT)
The Blue Devils now possess a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Portland for a Shoreline battle on Friday, February 2. Coginchaug Regional will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 69-41 league loss to Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT). The Highlanders record now stands at 4-11.
The Knights (1-12) will now prepare for their battle against Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT). The Rams come into the Shoreline battle with a 2-11 record. In their last battle, Old Saybrook was overwhelmed by Hale Ray (Moodus, CT), 51-45, in a league battle.
