The Forbush Falcons basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting West Wilkes Blackhawks to 63 in the Falcons league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now sport a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Surry for a 2A Foothills contest on Tuesday, January 9. Forbush will meet a Greyhounds team coming off a 57-55 league win over East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC). The Greyhounds record now stands at 8-4.

The Blackhawks (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Vikings enter the 2A Foothills contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, North Wilkes was nudged by Watauga (Boone, NC), 56-43, in a non-league contest.
