Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC) and the visiting Thomas Jefferson Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC), saw Highland Tech's basketball squad knock off Thomas Jefferson by a tally of 64-55.

With the victory, Highland Tech improves its record to 4-9 on the campaign. The Rams host Shelby (Shelby, NC) to play the Golden Lions in a 1A/2A Southern Piedmont test on Friday, January 12. The Golden Lions go into the test with a record of 5-5.
