Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC) and the visiting Thomas Jefferson Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC), saw Shelby's basketball squad wallop Thomas Jefferson by a tally of 88-50.

With the victory, Shelby improves its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Golden Lions travel to Burns (Lawndale, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A/2A Southern Piedmont challenge on Friday, February 16. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 11-11. Burns lost 54-52 in their recent league challenge against East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC)
