Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC) and the visiting Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC), saw Shelby's basketball squad overcome Highland Tech by a tally of 83-68.

With the victory, Shelby improves its record to 16-8 on the campaign. The Golden Lions travel to East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC) to confront the Warriors in a 1A/2A Southern Piedmont challenge on Friday, February 23. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 18-8. East Gaston won 78-62 in their recent non-league challenge against Burns (Lawndale, NC)
