In Friday's league match, the host McIntosh Chiefs basketball team scored a good 55-38 triumph over the Northgate Vikings.

In their next game, the Chiefs face the Harris County Tigers (Hamilton, GA) in a AAAAA Region 3 match, on Tuesday, January 9. McIntosh will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 2-10 record after their 65-58 non-league loss to Spencer (Columbus, GA).
