Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers (New Ulm, MN) and the host St. Mary's Knights (Sleepy Eye, MN), saw Minnesota Valley Lutheran's basketball squad overcome St. Mary's by a tally of 86-71.

With the victory, Minnesota Valley Lutheran improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Chargers host Wabasso (Wabasso, MN) to confront the Rabbits in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Rabbits come into the contest with a record of 3-7. Wabasso lost 57-52 in their recent league contest against Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN)
