Connecticut High School Basketball - Morgan overwhelms Valley Regional

January 5, 2024: Deep River, CT 06417

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Morgan Huskies (Clinton, CT) and the host Valley Regional Warriors (Deep River, CT), saw Morgan's basketball squad wallop Valley Regional by a tally of 65-44.

With the victory, Morgan improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT) to play the Blue Devils in a Shoreline challenge on Friday, January 12. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 6-2.

Next up, the Warriors play the Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils (Durham, CT) in a Shoreline challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Valley Regional will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 74-62 league loss to Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT).
