January 5, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87102 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Albuquerque Bulldogs (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM), saw Albuquerque's basketball squad hold off West Mesa by a tally of 59-52.
With the victory, Albuquerque improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM) to confront the Storm in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Storm come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. Cleveland won 62-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Capital (Santa Fe, NM)
Next, the Mustangs encounter the Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 9. West Mesa will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 13-1 record after their 42-34 non-league win over Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM).
