January 6, 2023: Coal Township, PA 17866 The Shamokin Area Indians routed the visiting Mifflinburg Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 49-19 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Indians face the Milton Black Panthers (Milton, PA) in a Heartland II game, on Tuesday, January 10. Shamokin Area will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record. The Black Panthers enter the game with a 1-7 record after their 57-24 league loss to Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA).
